It is the mission of the Human Resources Department to provide personnel resources and continuously seek to improve upon the systems that support County employees and administrators with the essential functions necessary to fulfill their employment-related needs and objectives.
- Administers employment-related directives from the County Board of Commissioners
- Administers unemployment and workers compensation programs
- Negotiates and administers all collective bargaining agreements between the county and its employees
- Monitors and refers individuals to Employee Assistance Program resources
- Administers all employee payroll and benefits
- Conducts periodic labor/management meetings

Successful candidates will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Prison's housing units and recreation yards. Must maintain all logs and activity rosters utilized in the operation of the units.
