The Cambria County Prison provides for the care, custody and control of those individuals who have been charged or convicted of a criminal offense as determined by the legal committing authority. We ensure an institutional environment which serves to provide protection and safety for the citizens, staff and the legally incarcerated of Cambria County.
Current Covid-19 Statistics- There were no positive cases of Covid-19 within the prison until September 23, 2020. Since that date there have been a total of 615 positive cases- 124 prison employees, 11 contract employees, and 480 inmates/detainees. The facility is following all CDC, federal, state, and local guidelines in order to effectively prevent and mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
Due to an extended period of reduced Covid-19 cases, the Prison has resumed normal hours of professional and spiritual advisor visitation- 8:00 am- 8:00 pm daily. Religious and other volunteer programming have resumed according to their individual schedules.
Effective March 21, 2022, personal visitation will resume, the schedule is posted in the documents below.
The Prison lobby hours are 8:00 am – 8:00 pm daily
All visitors must clear the COVID-19 screening process, including temperature check, masks are recommended, but not mandatory.
