Meet the 3rd Friday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at the YPCC, 300 Prave Street, Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, with the exception of June being held at Sandyvale Memorial Gardens, 80 Hickory Street, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, July being held at Duman Lake County Park, 157 County Park Road, Ebensburg, Pennsylvania and August being held at Rock Run Recreation, 1228 Saint Lawrence Road, Patton, Pennsylvania. These three meetings will begin at 9:30AM.
The Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority (CCCRA) is a body of local government (incorporated under the Pennsylvania Municipalities Authority Act of 1945) by the Cambria County Commissioners in January of 1994. The purpose of the Authority is to establish recreational opportunities and assist with the cleanup of coal mining polluted rivers throughout Cambria County. The Authority works closely with and utilizes staff of the Cambria County Conservation District for technical assistance on projects. The Authority is made up of a board of fifteen (15) residents from all parts of the County who are appointed by the County Commissioners for staggered five-year terms. Staff consists of an Executive Director and Program Coordinator.
The Mission of the Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority is to acquire, construct, maintain, operate, and facilitate recreation and environmental remediation facilities in Cambria County and the surrounding region.
The Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority exists to create, enhance, and preserve great trail experiences in Cambria County. We strive to provide the residents of Cambria County sustainable recreational trail experiences that connect citizens with the region’s assets to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle.
