The 12th Annual Chernisky Classic 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run is a family-friendly event that includes an out-and-back 5K and 10K course on the nationally recognized Ghost Town Trail, recently named the 2020 DCNR Trail of the Year, as well as a free Firecracker Race for kids 8 and under. The event always takes place the Saturday after the fourth of July, making this year’s date July 11th. Firetrucks and firefighters will be at the event to greet and interact with kids. 100% of proceeds benefit the Training Facility of the Cambria County Regional Firefighters Association.

The Chernisky Classic welcomes all runners and walkers to an exciting, and fun filled day.

Cold water will be available at the start/finish line and on the trail. The 5K and 10K course will be clearly marked for you to complete your distance.
